Federation of Nigeria Youth Greens (FNYG) is an affiliate of the Federation of Young African Greens (FYAG), formally agreed to and ratified at Cotonou, Benin Republic August, 21st – 25th 2006.

The main task and objective of the Federation of Nigeria Youth Greens is to promote active participation of the citizenry in political and grass root democracy, gender and women rights to participate in socio-economic and political violence that deny them major roles in public policy and decision making process; and taking actions that threaten the environment. The environment suffers undue exploitation due to human activity and technological development.
